Monday Great Masters                                             Grades: K - 1st

Mondays   2:30 - 3:30                                          Location:  Hidden Valley Elementary

9 weeks  -    2/24 - 5/12                                                                                                  

Children will have fun learning about the Great Masters such as Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Braque and many more.  Various art media such as oil and chalk pastels, watercolor, acrylics on canvas, colored pencils, and collage will be used.  They will explore the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. They will also be engaged in art discussions using Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS).  

Tuesday 3-D Art Lab & More                              Grades: 2nd - 6th

Tuesdays   2:30 - 3:30                                       Location:  Hidden Valley Elementary

12 weeks  -   2/18 - 5/13                                                                                         

Get down with upcycled art!  In this class children will have fun exploring 3-D art forms.  They will work with recycled materials to make collage, sculptures, toys, and games.  The children will also be exposed to printmaking, painting, drawing and working with with paper mache.  Through these fun and creative art forms the children will learn art history and improve their ability to see and express themselves in new ways.  All will be done in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Great Masters and Pop Artists                                              Ages: 5-8

Tuesdays    4:30 - 5:30                                      Location:  Poulsbo Parks & Rec​

Children will have fun learning about the European Great Masters such as Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Braque and many more.  Various art media such as oil and chalk pastels, watercolor, acrylics on canvas, colored pencils, and collage will be used.  They will explore the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Art Explorers                                                                   Ages: 8-12
